Revanth Reddy asks Japanese industrialists to invest in Telangana, build a new world together

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy called on Japanese industrialists to invest in Telangana and build a new world together. He hoped to work together to design future plans with new innovations. He explained that a future city is being set up in Hyderabad on 30,000  acres and a dry port that will connect it to the nearest port for exports.

After inaugurating the Telangana Pavilion at the Osaka Expo, the CM held separate discussions with the Japanese industrialists. . CM Revanth Reddy and Minister Sridhar Babu, who arrived in Osaka from Kitakyushu city, inaugurated a special Telangana zone at the Indian Pavilion on Monday.

The government said that Telangana is the first state from India to participate in the Osaka Expo held once every five years. Arrangements have been made in the pavilion to showcase Telangana’s culture, industrial friendly environment, traditional arts and tourist attractions to visitors from all over the world at the Osaka Expo venue.

The government has revealed that steps are being taken to attract international investments through this platform and enhance cultural cooperation. After the inauguration of the pavilion, CM Revanth Reddy’s team met separately with several Japanese industrialists and businessmen.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy explained the investment opportunities in Telangana to the Japanese industrialists. The CM called for transforming the historical friendship between Telangana and Japan into a long-term partnership. The Chief Minister expressed his desire to work together to formulate future plans with new innovations.

IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu said that Telangana has already achieved a unique identity in the IT and biotechnology sectors. Along with this, he explained the advantages it has for industries in the aerospace, electronics and textiles sectors.

He said that a future city is being built on 30,000 acres in Hyderabad and that this city will rely on eco, energy, smart mobility and a circular economy. The minister said that an industrial park is being set up in the future city with the Marubeni Corporation of Japan.

As part of the Musi revival, a 55-kilometer urban greenway will be developed along the river, and he said that there is a lot to learn from the cities of Tokyo and Osaka in this regard, he added.
