Retired IPS ABV visited Accused In stone pelting case Satish House

Friday, December 5, 2025

Retired IPS officer AB Venkateswara Rao continued his visits to the houses of  victims facing fabricated cases of attacks, registered by the previous Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime.  He  went to the house of the accused in the stone pelting case, Satish in Vijayawada on Tuesday and asked Satish’s parents and children and got the details.

Later, AB Venkateswara Rao speaking to the media lamented that Jaganmohan Reddy is a person who does politics by trampling on people’s lives and corpses. He criticized that he took what was not there and made politics by hiding it. He expressed anger that he destroyed the life and family of a Vaddera caste man.

He was fired for portraying the blow he received when throwing a gajamala as a stone attack and using it for political purposes. ABV alleged that Satish was sacrificed because he was weak and was put in jail for 45 days. He deplored that even after the change of government, the false case is still being thrown out without being dismissed.

He said that there has been no progress in the case till today. He expressed concern that it is heartbreaking to hear what kind of third degree was used against them. The retired Director General of Police said that they were promised Rs 2 lakhs compensation, but today the victims are in a situation where they cannot even eat.

He questioned why no action was taken against the police who committed such atrocities and what kind of message is being given to the society? He asked what was the wrong done by the victims, why should they suffer in a case without any connection or evidence?

He demanded that justice be done to such people at least now. He wanted the government, CP and DGP to take action against those responsible for victimizing the victims in this case. He demanded that the case be closed immediately, the bail bonds be cancelled and the money they paid be returned. In addition, he said that the government should provide them compensation.

It may be recalled that when YS Jagan was the CM, he was hit by a pebble while addressing an election campaign meeting in Singhnagar, Vijayawada. Jagan walked around with his forehead on for a week. The police arrested Vemula Satish Kumar as the main accused in these cases. Later, Satish was released on bail.
