The constituency of Ramachandrapuram in the East Godavari district is known for its political colors and is filled with many politicians across the regional parties of AP. The situation became so obvious that there is competition even inside individual political parties.
The ruling party YSRCP used to be strong since the place made the MLA Chelliboyina Venugopal Minister and is having a stronghold. Since he has won, Venugopal is in the race but the party head Jagan also gave his word to the Rajya Sabha MP Pilli Subhash Chandrabose’s son Surya Prakash. This has made the local supporters confused about whether to whom they should prepare the grounds.
The situation is not different in the TDP as the two local candidates Pattamsetti Srinivas who has been awaiting the B-form and the constituency in-charge Reddy Subhramanyam are crossing swords at each other. Coming to the party of Janasena, the so-called strong leader of the region, Polisetti Chandrasekhar who is also the in-charge of the party in the region is in the good looks of Chief Pawan Kalyan. However, the newly joined ex-Minister Chikkala Ramachandra Rao is lobbying for his relative Chikkala Dorababu. All in all, forgetting who wins in the triple heat fight, and finalizing the right candidate itself has become a huge headache for the party heads in Ramachandrapuram.
