Ram Charan’s much-awaited political thriller Game Changer, that hit the theaters on January 10 along with Sankranthi festival, is now coming to Amazon Prime Video on February 7, weeks after its big screen release.
The OTT release of the film in a hurry has started discussions around the trend of movies that don’t perform as well as expected at the box office are reaching streaming platforms earlier. If Game Changer had fared better in theaters, its digital release would have been delayed. After the initial buzz, the film has received mixed responses from the audience.
Game Changer is a movie directed by Shankar, starring Kiara Advani and an ensemble cast that includes Anjali, SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, and Srikanth. The film is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations and has music composed by Thaman.
