Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated next, Vettaiyan, is touted to be an action-drama. The film boasts an ensemble stellar cast featuring names like legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and others in crucial roles. The makers recently shared a poster and announced an update on the release of this much-anticipated film.
The movie makers took to their social media platforms, announced the release date, and wrote, “Kuri vechachu. VETTAIYAN is all set to take charge in cinemas this OCTOBER. Get ready to chase down the prey!”
In the poster, Superstar Rajinikanth was seen in a cool look in a blue shirt, pairing it with sunglasses, and holding a gun in his hand. Soon, the poster went viral, and fans were delighted to hear about the release month.
About Vettaiyan, the film is helmed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame. The film is backed by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions. Music sensation Anirudh Ravichandran is composing the music for this action drama. The technical crew includes SR Kathir as the cinematographer and Philomin Raj as the editor.
Fans are eagerly waiting for its release because of the ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. This film is the first collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth.
Thalaivar was last seen in the film Lal Salam, which was released earlier in February this year. Lal Salam was helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. On the work front, Superstar Rajinikanth’s next with talented director Lokesh Kanagaraj is tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar171’. It is rumored that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is going to join this upcoming project. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the news.
