It’s a proud moment for Indian audiences as Rajamouli’s blockbuster action drama RRR has bagged the oscar at the 95th Academy Awards held at Dolby Stadium. The popular number has achieved the oscar in the Best Original Song Category by beating the other nominees like Hold My Hand (Top Gun Maverick), Applause (Tell it like a Woman), This is a Life (Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Life Me Up (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever).
Celebrating this proud moment, not just the RRR fans and audiences, many south celebs including Rajinikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and many others have also taken to social media and expressed their joy and excitement towards this big achievement.
Superstar Rajinikanth congratulated the team of RRR for creating history in Indian cinema. The star actor took to his social media handles and wrote- ‘My hearty congratulations to Shri. Keeravani, Shri. Rajamouli and Shri. Kartiki Gonsalves for getting the prestigious Oscar Award. I salute to the proud Indians.’
