Pursuing higher education is the right of the poor: Y S Jagan

The Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan has stated that pursuing higher education is the right of the poor and the government has to take responsibility for it. 

Addressing the students and parents in Kovvur, Jagan has made some interesting comments about the students and their future. He stated that he has brought in the schemes like Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Jagananna Vasathi Deevena just to help poor students to get a better education. Before this, Jagan released 703 crores under Jagananna Vidya Deevena for the first quarter of 2023. By this around 10 lakh students get total fee reimbursement and the money will get deposited into their mother’s accounts. 

Jagan also said that to eradicate poverty, getting educated is the only way and the government is committed to it. He also mentioned that till now the government has spent 14900 plus crores under these two schemes. Jagan has expressed his confidence that the state will become a hub for skilled manpower and will pave a golden path for the entire country in the coming future.
