The newest Chief of the AP-BJP wing, Daggubati Purandeswari met the BJP National Chief JP Nadda in the capital of Delhi this morning. This meeting especially after assuming the charge of the leader, Purandeswari has given her oath to serve the party in AP.
Former Union Minister of BJP and senior leader Purandeswari has had her own name and fame within the party at the central level but she was never given leadership duties. For the first time, the BJP biggies trusted in her and made her the AP BJP President, sacking Somu Verraju who failed to go hard on YS Jagan and weakened bridges between Janasena and BJP. Purandeswari who completed her Amarnath Yatra with her family stopped in the capital on the way back home and met with JP Nadda. After the meeting, she revealed the details of her discussions with her Supreme via Twitter. The President of AP-BJP wrote that she was extremely thankful and pledged her commitment to giving her best to the state. Not only developing BJP within AP but she also promised not to compromise the self-respect and needs of AP people.
Purandeswari’s presence would help both BJP and Janasena parties as she spoke well of Pawan Kalyan in the past. However, her indirect enmity with the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu might have some hurdles in case they all go for a grand alliance just like in 2024.
