In what could be termed as a first instance ever, the production house of Baahubali actor Prabhas’ upcoming marquee film Project K deleted the first look poster that was unveiled on Wednesday evening. They posted a new poster this morning which is no different but looks like an enhanced design with a slight change in the backdrop.
The official Twitter handle of ‘Vyjayanthi Movies’, the production house behind Project K, shared the first look poster of Prabhas as a Superhero in the film. The bizarre design of the poster and Prabhas’ shocking makeover received a huge backlash from all quarters within minutes after its release. Even die-hard fans of Prabhas raged in anger over the director for not taking due care on the looks of Prabhas. They also trolled that the look and the style was copied from Hollywood Iron Man character.
It seems like the production house tried to overcompensate with a new poster after such a huge embarrassment from moviegoers. Unfortunately, the new poster is no different and might change the mood and impression of the audience.
Now, all eyes are on the first glimpse of the film which is likely to be out in a few hours. The makers are going to unveil a glimpse at the renowned Comic-con event in San Diego USA. Prabhas and the core team of Project K will address moviegoers across the globe.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is billed as a futuristic drama that blends mythology and science fiction. Deepika Padukone is the leading lady. It stars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in significant roles.
