President Draupadi Murumu honored in AP

Indian President Draupadi Murumu graced the state of Andhra Pradesh as a part of her South Indian tour. She has been greatly felicitated in the region of Poranki the other day and dignitaries like AP CM Jagan along with the state’s governor Biswabhushan Harichandan attended this event.

The president has been heaped with appraisals from the attendees for being a tribal woman to becoming the president of the largest democratic country in the world. Touched with the honor, Murumu thanked the people of Andhra Pradesh for their warm reception and stated in Telugu that she was happy to be in the holy land where Lord Venkateswara Swamy was worshiped all the time and wished that Goddess Kanakadurga should bless the people of Andhra Pradesh. She opined that language should not be a barrier to showering love and care so she chose to deliver a couple of lines in Telugu. Draupadi won hearts by declaring that the language of Telugu is the ideal one among all the languages of India.

CS Jawahar Reddy conveyed the vote of thanks to the president on behalf of the AP Government and its people. CM Jagan reiterated the fact that a normal tribal woman rose to become a president is not a normal thing for anyone. He declared that Draupadi Murumu is a role model for all the social activists and democrats who serve the country.
