Prabhas leaves his fans in confusion

Sunday, December 22, 2024

After Baahubali, Prabhas went wrong with his decisions on various aspects. Firstly, he wasted a lot of crucial time in his career for films like ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radheshyam’ which didn’t bring him any credits after scoring his pan-India success with Baahubali. He then dedicated considerable time for a mythological drama titled ‘Adipurush’ which is yet to see the light of day. The teaser received mixed reports and it forced the makers to postpone the film and rework on the tacky VFX effects. He is now shooting for three films at a time. There are no clear updates about the progress of these films.

Meanwhile, rumours continue to surface in the industry circles and National media about these films. Speculations are rife that his upcoming film Salaar will release in two parts. Also, there are rumours that Project K is also going to release in two parts. There is buzz that Maruthi’s film will be a horror comedy. There is a word on the street that Prabhas will team up with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand for a multi-starrer film with Hrithik Roshan. His landmark film Spirit is yet to have an official announcement regarding its start.

Many of his fans across the country feel that Prabhas failed to plan his career prudently after achieving pan-India popularity with Baahubali. He signed films with haste and didn’t take correct decisions at a decisive phase in his career. Moreover, his PR team is doing a very poor job as there is a lot of confusion on what is really happening with his upcoming projects which are in different stages of production. Even if the makers of Salaar and Project K want to release their films in two parts, there should be proper official announcements even before media starts speculations. But, that’s not happening.

It is high time Prabhas takes control of all his PR activities and clear the confusion in his fans first.
