India’s biggest superstar Prabhas didn’t come out for promotions of his latest offering Salaar. Despite no promotions, the film managed to take a stupendous opening in all territories because of the massive buzz in the audience due to the combo of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel.
Notwithstanding the mixed reports and reviews, Salaar raked in terrific revenues in Hindi and Telugu till now. The film already emerged as the second biggest grosser in Prabhas’ career after Baahubali 2. Many are surprised about the silence that is being maintained by Prabhas about this film. He has finally responded today.
Reacting to the overwhelming response, Prabhas expressed his gratitude towards his fans. On the eve of New Year, the Adipurush actor took to Instagram and posted, “While I decide the fate of #Khansaar, you all sit back and have a fantastic New Year darlings. Thank you for owning #SalaarCeaseFire and making it a big success,”
This is the first message from Prabhas after the film’s release. He seems to be happy with the reception of Salaar after being disappointed with his previous three outings, Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush.
He will soon resume the shooting formalities of his upcoming films Kalki 2898AD and untitled Maruthi’s film. He will also work with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a cop drama titled Spirit. The filming for second part of Salaar is also likely to roll out later this year.
