Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has confidently asserted that Revanth Reddy will continue as the Chief Minister of Telangana for the next four years. This statement came during a media interaction where he addressed comments made by BJP leader Eleti Maheshwar Reddy, suggesting that opposition leaders often resort to such remarks merely to gain media attention.
Looking ahead, Minister Reddy hinted at potential political surprises upon returning from Seoul, although he mentioned there could be a slight delay in their revelation. He said, “The political bomb I referred to hasn’t exploded yet, but you’ll discover what it is soon.”
Furthermore, he reassured that there will be no shifts in leadership within the state, noting that if the Congress party wins a second term, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) will make the decision regarding the next Chief Minister. He advised against making premature predictions about future changes. Additionally, he announced that panchayat elections are likely to take place by the end of December, setting the stage for important local governance decisions in the coming months.
