Police recently arrived at the residence of Raghava Reddy, personal assistant to YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy, in connection with the ongoing investigation into Varra Ravinder Reddy, who is currently evading arrest. Authorities suspect that Raghava Reddy was in communication with Ravinder Reddy, prompting their visit to question him. News of this development quickly spread in Pulivendula, drawing a large gathering of YSRCP supporters to Raghava Reddy’s residence.
Family members informed the police that Raghava Reddy was not at home, resulting in their departure. Meanwhile, advocate Obulareddy reached out to Pulivendula Urban CI Jeevan Ranganath to discuss the matter.
Ravinder Reddy is under investigation for allegedly misusing his position during the previous YSRCP administration, including posting defamatory content on social media against leaders such as Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, and Vangalapudi Anitha, which led to cases being filed against him in Mangalagiri and other stations.
Local police had recently detained Ravinder Reddy, issuing a 41A notice, a move that sparked scrutiny from higher officials, leading to action against officers accused of negligence in handling the case.
