Tollywood actor and YSRCP leader Posani Krishna Murali has suffered another setback. He was already arrested by Rajampet police and sent to jail in connection with his abusive comments on alliance leaders Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan during the previous YSRCP government.
However, after suffering a heart attack `drama’, the police took him to the Kadapa hospital and brought him back to jail. A case similar to the one registered in Rajampet against Posani has been registered at Narasaraopet police station as well, under sections 153 A 67 IT Act 504.
The Narasaraopet police reached Rajampet sub-jail with a PT warrant on Monday. They have taken Posani into their custody after conducting medical examinations at Rajampet sub-jail. It is known that Posani has been a remand prisoner in Rajampet sub-jail for the last four days.
Posani is being shifted to Narasaraopet under the supervision of Narasaraopet Two Town CI Hemarao. Narasaraopet police are shifting Posani from Rajampet jail with the permission of the court. He is likely to be produced in the Narasaraopet court in the afternoon.
Arrangements are being made to move him to remand. With this, it seems that Posani’s lawyer Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy has started efforts for bail. There are chances that he will file a bail petition for Posani in the High Court today.
On the other hand, in the context of a series of cases against Posani, the police are also focusing on the people mentioned in his statement. This is increasing tension among YSRCP leaders. Meanwhile, it seems that more than 15 cases have been registered against Posani Krishna Murali across the state.
In this context, the road is being taken to Rajampet sub-jail to arrest Posani one by one. Even his lawyers succeeded in obtaining bail for him in one case, he is likely to be arrested in another case subsequently.
