The investigation into the rave party at Rajendra Prasad’s farmhouse, known as Raj Pakala and the brother-in-law of BRS Working President KTR, is intensifying. Police have identified Karthik as the primary accused (A1) and Raj Pakala as the secondary accused (A2). Authorities are currently conducting searches at Raj Pakala’s residence in Orion Villas, Rayadurgam, Villa No. 40, while the Excise Enforcement team continues to gather evidence at the Janwada farmhouse.
Raj Pakala’s connection to this case is putting KTR in a precarious situation, prompting Congress leaders to demand a public response. They accuse KTR of previously making misleading statements about his opposition to drug culture. Aadi Srinivas, Vemulawada MLA and Government Whip, has called for KTR to clarify his position regarding the rave party at the Janwada farmhouse and has alleged that Raj Pakala is involved in drug trafficking.
Congress leaders have claimed that Raj Pakala has influenced many to engage in drug use, insisting on a comprehensive investigation into the matter. Shoba, a leader in the Congress women’s wing, has pointed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s commitment to making Telangana a drug-free state. She noted that 35 arrests were made during the rave party at the Janwada farmhouse and demanded that KTR be held accountable. Shoba challenged KTR to undergo a blood test to prove his integrity, criticizing his silence on this serious issue while he frequently comments on less significant matters.
As the situation unfolds, concerns are growing about KTR’s farmhouse allegedly being a hub for drug parties. Medak MP Raghunandan Rao has called for the release of CCTV footage from the Janwada farmhouse incident, highlighting a worrying trend of increased drug activity during weekends. While BJP and Congress leaders are vocal in their criticisms of the BRS party, the BRS leaders have yet to issue a response.
