Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy Requests High Court For Passport Approval To Travel Abroad

  Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, a former MLA of the YSR Congress Party known for his controversial reputation, has approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court for permission to travel abroad. In his petition, he presented several reasons for his proposed trip. Meanwhile, the police’s lawyer, Ashwini Kumar, requested additional time to file a counter petition regarding Reddy’s application.

The High Court has agreed to the police lawyer’s request, delaying the hearing until the 28th of this month. Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, a YSRCP leader, is accused of creating disturbances during the assembly elections, including breaking electronic voting machines (EVMs) and assaulting another individual. In response, the police from Karampudi and Rentachintala registered cases against him. After his arrest and a stint in jail, he obtained conditional bail from the court and was released. 

Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, a former MLA from the YSRCP, has filed a petition with the Andhra Pradesh High Court to retrieve his seized passport, allowing him to travel abroad. In the recent court proceedings, his attorney, Ramalakshman Reddy, argued on his behalf for the return of the passport. 

Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy has petitioned the Andhra Pradesh High Court for permission to travel to Singapore, where his son is set to pursue higher education. He argued that his presence is essential to support his son during this important phase. In turn, the police’s lawyer, Ashwin Kumar, requested additional time to submit a counter petition, resulting in the court postponing the hearing on Pinnelli’s application until the 28th of this month.
