The Telangana Government has sanctioned 200 crores of rupees for the tribal town of Pinapaka regency in Kothagudem to develop the place against floods and to aid the locals.

The people of Pinapaka conveyed their vote of thanks to their MLA Rega Kantha Rao when he managed to make his boss KCR release such a whopping amount for their region. In this regard, The MLA thanked the Telangana government and the CM KCR for considering his long-term plight as he was unable to bear the hardships of people in Pinapaka. Kantha Rao explained that the region which comes under the tribal regency is a constant target for floods in the river Godavari and at times, the people fail to get the minimum facilities in such times as transport and electricity halted. He pledged to use the amount to fully develop the region by constructing facilities and roads to increase transport for the locals. Along with this amount, the DMRF funds shall also be diverted to construct flood relief camps for emergency situations and develop educational institutions with necessary facilities.

This is said to be the best thing the TRS Government did in recent times as the region has been constantly in distress due to floods. Many are applauding the MLA for his efforts to get the funds out of Government for his constituency.
