As we know that the makers of Thalapthy67 have been creating a buzz on social media since yesterday by announcing the film’s cast. Although they revealed the character posters of 8 actors that will appear in supporting roles, but the makers have not unveiled the female lead’s name.
Now with much hype, the popular production house and the financers of Thalapathy67, Seven Screen Studios have announced the leading lady of the film as none other than the South beauty Trisha Krishnan. Dropping a poster picture of the actress on their official Twitter page, the makers wrote- ‘Extremely happy to welcome @trishtrashers mam onboard for #Thalapathy67. #Thalapathy67Cast #Thalapathy @actorvijay sir @Dir_Lokesh @Jagadishbliss.’
With this latest update, we can finally put our speculations aside about the leading lady of Thalapathy67 and can actually wait for this pair to entertain us on the big screens.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy67 marks the 67th film of the Tamil star hero Vijay Thalapathy in the lead role. With Trisha being the female lead, Thalapathy67 has a stellar cast featuring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin and dance composer Sandy Master in key roles.
This action thriller which is said to be a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe will mark the second collaboration of the Mersal actor and the ace filmmaker after their 2019 action drama Master.
Interestingly, Thalapathy67 marks the fifth union of Trisha and Vijay as they previously paired in four films including Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi and Kuruvi.
