The senior Kapu leader of both Telugu States, Hari Rama Jogaiah had been fasting against the ruling party YSRCP in order to achieve a 5% reservation quota for his BC community under the Economically Backward Caste category. The 85 years old veteran who was in a hospital bed finally ended the fast after talking with Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan.
The resident of Palakol started his fast and his health deteriorated within no time due to his age the Police shifted him to Eluru hospital for better medication. Knowing that the Kapu Leader is sacrificing his own health without taking medication and food, Pawan Kalyan called Jogaiah and requested him to break the fast and assured him to fight alongside him politically and legally. Janasenani dug at the AP CM by stating that such a harsh leader shall let the veteran end his life rather than sanctioning any reservation and promised him that he will take up this reservation issue personally on behalf of Janasena.
Immediately after the call, Hari Rama Jogaiah ended the fast, took his pills, and had glucose by thanking Pawan Kalyan. It seems now the Kapu community is looking up to their only hope Pawan Kalyan. He is expected to address this issue in his upcoming political public meeting in Srikakulam
