Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan’s emotional outburst is the major highlight of the Tadepalligudem meeting which was attended by lakhs of supporters from both parties. The meeting ‘ Jenda’ ( Flag) is aimed at instilling confidence in the cadres of both Janasena and Telugu Desam parties and giving a clarion call to all their supporters ahead of the much-anticipated assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Pawan Kalyan came down heavily on the current Chief Minister and his party in an aggressive and ferocious style. His blistering speech is laden with trenchant dialogues, savage punches and severe tongue-lashing particularly aimed at YS Jagan. He made scathing remarks on the destructive rule of Jagan over the past five years and called for an end to the anarchy in the State with immediate effect. Pawan gave a masterclass on how Jagan destroyed the state in all aspects with his vindictive politics and self-interests.
Besides launching an all-out attack on the ruling dispensation and its leaders, Pawan Kalyan reprimanded a section of his supporters and party leaders who are disappointed with Janasena’s meagre representation in the seat-sharing pact with the Telugu Desam Party for the assembly elections.
Pawan rightly condemned those who are finding fault with his approach and also spoke with a lot of maturity highlighting his pragmatic intent behind seeking just 24 seats for his party out of 175 assembly segments.
Pawan correctly pointed out that Janasena lacks the wherewithal and poll management skills to fight these elections alone against the YSRCP. He questioned his supporters whether Janasena has substantial support in the form of booth-level coordinators in every constituency who play an instrumental role in the fair conduction of elections.
Pawan Kalyan’s enlightening speech explaining the ground realities when it comes to winning the elections will serve as an eye-opener for many of his followers who have been criticizing him ever since the first list of the TDP – Janasena combine was announced last week. There has been a widespread remonstration within the cadre over the last few days as Janasena was allotted only 24 seats in the alliance. Taking this as an opportunity, the YSRCP is trying its best to sow seeds of discord among the disgruntled leaders. But, yesterday’s meeting and Pawan Kalyan’s speech will put an end to all its plans.
Pawan Kalyan openly declared that the sole purpose of the alliance was to oust Jagan Mohan Reddy from power and revive the fortunes of the State immediately under the able administration and experience of Chandra Babu Naidu. He challenged the YSRCP government and its leaders to get ready for an intense battle in the coming days.
