Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan went to the house of Murali Nayak, a brave soldier who gave up his life in defending the country on the border. The visit was to Kallithanda village in Gorantla Mandal, Sri Sathya Sai district, where Pawan Kalyan offered floral tributes before the mortal remains of the martyr and condoled with the grieving family.
Supported by ministers Nara Lokesh, B. Satyakumar, and Savitha, Pawan Kalyan rendered both emotional and formal assistance. Speaking to the family, he assured them that the central government and the state are entirely willing to stand behind them in such troubled times. In line with the state government assistance in immediate relief, he promised a relief package of ₹50 lakh.
In a tribute to Murali Nayak’s ultimate sacrifice, Pawan announced plans for a bronze statue at the district headquarters and a memorial in the martyr’s home village. Besides this, the government will provide the martyr’s family with five acres of farm land and a 300-square-yard house plot. One eligible member from the family will also be offered a government job.
Pawan Kalyan also extended personal help by pledging ₹25 lakh from his own funds. He assured the family of continued support and said he is ready to help further, whenever required. The Jana Sena leader prayed for strength and healing for the family, stating that Murali Nayak’s brave act will always be remembered and will serve as a guiding light for the youth of the country.
