Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan paid a visit to Kadapa RIMS hospital today to meet Galiveedu MPDO Jawahar Babu, who was reportedly attacked by individuals linked to the YSRCP. Speaking to the media after the visit, Pawan Kalyan strongly condemned the incident and identified the alleged assailant as Sudarshan Reddy, a lawyer and the son of the local MPP. He explained that the attack occurred after Sudarshan and his associates entered the MPDO office without authorization and resorted to violence when the official refused to hand over the office keys.
Pawan described the attack as not just an assault on an individual but a direct challenge to the state’s administrative machinery. Drawing attention to the MPDO’s critical role, which he compared to that of a district Collector, Pawan expressed shock and dismay at the brazen nature of the incident. He further alleged that Sudarshan Reddy had a history of similar behavior, citing past attacks on other MPDOs, including Pratap, Shekar Naik, and Srinivasulu Reddy.
The Jana Sena leader accused the ruling YSRCP of fostering an environment of unchecked arrogance and power misuse, warning that such behavior is unacceptable. He called for immediate and strict action against those responsible, emphasizing that no government should tolerate violence against public servants. Pawan also appreciated the prompt response from the district Collector regarding the issue and assured that he would pursue justice for the affected officials.
Pawan Kalyan didn’t hold back in his criticism of the YSRCP, accusing the ruling party of acting with undue arrogance despite limited electoral success in the region. He warned that any attempts to disrupt the functioning of government officials or interfere in administrative duties would face severe consequences. Pawan reiterated his commitment to standing against dominance-driven attacks on public servants and holding the perpetrators accountable.
