Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan finds himself at the center stage of Andhra Pradesh politics following his comments on the situation of the law and order aspect of Pithapuram; the political hotting up of the State notwithstanding, made him recall for the acquisition of lands given to Chief Minister Jagan’s companies, which were forcibly done according to Pawan. This is the focus Pawan has been giving his political campaign in the last few weeks and is reportedly to bring in a proposal over this at the Cabinet meet today. It is said to be a hot issue that would be discussed later.
As part of this political campaigning, Pawan Kalyan has taken strategic moves in his Pithapuram constituency as well. During the election victory, he had promised the people of setting up a house there. True to his word, Pawan has already bought land in the region, acquiring 2.08 acres in Illindradu and 1.44 acres in Bhogapuram earlier this year. Recently, he added another 12 acres to his holdings in Pithapuram. These purchases signal a carefully planned approach, as Pawan intends to build his personal residence along with a camp office on the newly acquired land. This move further assures his long-term commitment toward his constituency.
Meanwhile, his unscheduled meeting with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today has fired up political speculation. If this is combined with Pawan Kalyan gaining more strength in the state then he would be a bright figure to watch in these coming days. His movements, be it politically or individually, are molding the present and future of his constituencies and the state of Andhra Pradesh.
