Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan lashed out at the Jaganmohan Reddy government for running a mafia kingdom in the name of liquor ban. He strongly accused the previous government of siphoning off funds on the one hand and taking people’s lives on the other.
In an interview given to a Telugu news channel, he said that he could not say anything on the question of whether the Center’s permission was required for Jagan’s arrest in this case. He made it clear that this is a legal process and that he could not make any comment. He accused the previous YSRCP government of dumping liquor in AP.
He recalled that the YSRCP came to power with the slogan of liquor ban, but Jagan forgot that promise. He said that many people lost their lives due to liver damage due to poor quality liquor. He said that many victims have come to the Jana Sena party office and now many people are being arrested in the liquor scam.
However, Pawan Kalyan was fired up that Jagan and YSRCP leaders are still talking with a tendency of threats. He warned that no one is afraid of such paper threats. He emphasized that they have seen many such slaps. He emphasized that we have stood here after many struggles and came to power with a massive public approval.
He questioned why they are still shouting even after corruption and unfair dealings. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan reminded that he had already told CM Chandrababu Naidu his decision on land acquisition for the capital Amaravati. The CM also agreed with his opinion.
Pawan Kalyan said that he had convinced everyone and told them to move forward by making them partners and the CM also agreed to that. He reminded them that they came to power saying that Amaravati is the only capital. That is why he said that they should not have controversies.
He emphasized that the welfare of the people and the development of the state are important to his government. He reminded me that if good film stories come, he will act as a producer.
