Pawan Kalyan Handed over Rs 1 Crore Cheque To Chandrababu Towards Flood-Relief

 Heavy rains caused floods in Andhra Pradesh state. Many colonies in Vijayawada were submerged due to floods. Due to the flood there was a huge loss of property and loss of life. Keeping up his promise, Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan handed over Rs 1 crore cheque to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund at Vijayawada Collectorate.

On this occasion, Chandrababu inquired about Pawan’s health condition. It is known that recently Pawan fell ill, but continues his works monitoring flood relief activities. Pawan announced that he would give Rs.1 lakh to each Panchayat of 400 villages affected by the flood.

He Said that it will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of the respective Panchayat. He also announced that he would contribute another Rs 1 crore to Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, towards flood relief activities of the state.

As the impact of flood in two Telugu states is high, it is inevitable that Tollywood actors Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Balakrishna, NTR, Allu Arjun and several others. announced their share of contribution to both the states.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan have performed special pooja to the Lord Ganesha installed in the premises of Vijayawada Collectorate. Several ministers and officials also participated.

Nellore MP Vemareddy Prabhakara Reddy and his MLA wife Padmavati moved by the woes of the people who are struggling due to the floods in AP. They announced a donation of Rs 1 crore r to the CMRF fund for their contribution. They also met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and handed over a cheque.

Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulareddy on his family behalf also presented a cheque of Rs 1.5 crore to the Chief Minister. Earlier, he presented a cheque of Rs 10 to Prakasam district collector.
