Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has slammed party president and former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for his comments after the arrest of social media leaders and activists of his party. He said that Jagan was trying to threaten the police force through his comments.
In a meeting with the chairpersons of various corporations affiliated with the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan offered guidance on how to handle political matters. He took the opportunity to highlight how the previous government under Jagan Mohan Reddy had openly threatened law enforcement, even claiming they had the power to bring police officers back from distant locations.
Addressing his party leaders, Pawan Kalyan urged them to respond firmly to any provocative statements from YSRCP leaders or social media posts. He likened politics to a battle fought without weapons, stressing that one should only enter the political arena if they are ready to face such challenges head-on.
Emphasizing the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect on social media, Pawan Kalyan advised the corporate chairpersons to focus on presenting well-structured arguments rather than indulging in personal attacks. He reminded them that political criticism should be directed at policies, not individuals or their families. Personal remarks, he said, should be avoided at all costs.
Pawan Kalyan also encouraged the leaders to express their opinions with clarity and strength. He pointed out that if needed, they should be prepared to stand their ground and face challenges, but also added a sharp remark that YSRCP does not have the strength to provoke any confrontation.
Highlighting the need for peace and security, Pawan Kalyan reiterated that a society cannot remain stable without these foundational principles. He urged the leaders to prioritize maintaining peace and order in all their actions.
Finally, Pawan Kalyan advised the party leaders not to follow the irresponsible example set by YSRCP leaders and activists. He called for thoughtful, purposeful engagement on social media and encouraged them to seize the opportunity to serve the people with dignity and responsibility.
