Pawan Kalyan Criticizes MK Stalin’s Stand on Three-Language Policy

Friday, December 5, 2025

On the occasion of Janasena Formation Day, party leader Pawan Kalyan firmly positioned himself on major national issues and squarely counteracted the current debate issues of three-language policy and delimitation. Without mentioning DMK or Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin by name, what he said was a direct rebuke to their political position.

Pawan Kalyan pointed out India’s dense linguistic and cultural diversity, asking why certain political parties are against the three-language formula in a nation where unity in diversity is the strength. Pawan Kalyan said that rather than shunning it, there could be an enhanced multilingual strategy. Scoffing at the anti-Hindi opposition, he referred to the irony—if they are opposed to Hindi, why do they keep dubbing Tamil films into the language and profiting from Hindi-speaking audiences? He claimed that turning down the language while taking financial benefits from Hindi-speaking states is contradictory.

Referring to the problem of delimitation, Pawan Kalyan condemned the growing political divide between North and South India. He claimed that instead of addressing the actual issues of southern states, some political narratives are being employed to bring about unnecessary divisions. He also questioned the demand of Tamil Nadu to change the Indian Rupee symbol, jokingly suggesting that by the same logic, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka could also design their own currency symbols.

With his address, Pawan Kalyan firmly challenged such narratives, calling for a more pragmatic and cohesive approach to national matters instead of cultivating regional rifts. His remarks have evoked universal debates, striking a chord with many who urge a balanced and inclusive political agenda.
