Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan expressed confidence that the three party alliance of TDP, Jana Sena and BJP will defeat YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime of anarchy and bring a new government that strives hard for the development of the state.
Addressing his election campaign meeting in Giddalur, he said his party is confident to win from Pithapuram with a massive majority and enter the state assembly. He said that though technically he represents Pithapuram in the assembly, he will work for the benefit of all 175 constituencies and 5 crore people of the state.
He deplored that everyone talks about the backwardness of Northern Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, but ignore the backwardness of Prakasam district. He said Prakasam is the most backward region in the entire state and need special attention for its development.
He said that there are cases of Uddanam-type kidney disease cases in the Kanigiri area. Accusing that YS Jaganmohan Reddy government ignored completion of Veligonda project, he said if water flows from this project the entire region of Markapuram and Giddalur will flourish with development. He said that CM Jagan was confined to opening empty tunnels.
He said that the people of the state need education, health, drinking water, employment and law and order. He expressed anger that a man named Vengaiah Naidu was brutally killed for questioning the bad condition of roads in Giddalur. He cautioned that present YCP MLA Anna Rambabu is re-elected and the lives of people in this area are not safe.
Pawan Kalyan said that the new government in the state will implement Rs 25 lakh health insurance to every family, for the first time of its kind in the country. He said that he will always strive hard for the welfare of women, youth and farmers.
After campaigning in Giddalur, Pawan Kalyan participated in the joint campaign in Nellore along with TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Recalling that he had studied in Nellore, he said that the city helped him to understand the society and its problems.
He called upon the people to stand up, fight hard to break the chains of corrupt regime prevailing in the state and facilitate formation of a people’s government after elections.
