While Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan concluded his three-day Shashta Shanmukha Kshetra Yatra and returned on Saturday, CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna demanded his resignation as Deputy Chief Minister. Pawan Kalyan has visited temples in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
CPI leader Ramakrishna became angry towards Pawan Kalyan, for leaving the administration and roaming around temples. He advised that he may be given the endowment department.
“Pavan, who says he was born to question, is roaming around temples and pagodas wearing saffron cloth. Does Pawan Kalyan, who has stopped questioning and ruling, need the post of Deputy Chief Minister?”, he asked. He deplored that Pawan Kalyan, who is in the cabinet, is doing silent protests and roaming around without questioning.
Ramakrishna alleged that unprecedented looting took place in our state under the YSRCP government and 2,500 acres were allotted in 2022 for Adani hydroelectric projects in tribal areas, bypassing the laws that have been in place for ages. But, he was angry that if people tie up 164 seats for the alliance, then Adani is being wooed without speaking.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan performed special pujas at the Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, and Tiruchendur temples in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. On Friday, he performed special pujas at the Palamudircholai Arulmigu Solaimalai Murugan temple in the Alagar hills of Madurai district. Later, he performed pujas to Murugan and paid obeisances.
Later, Pawan, who left, stopped his convoy after seeing the temple sanitation workers and spoke to them for a while. He learned about yoga benefits. He took selfies with them. Later, he also provided them with financial assistance.
In the afternoon, he reached Srivalli and Devasena Sametha Sri Murugan Swamy temple in Tiruttani, Tiruvallur district. Pawan was traditionally welcomed by the temple priests. He performed pujas to Murugan, who appears as Shanmukha in Tiruttani. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Pawan said that the darshan of Subrahmanya Swamy at the six shrines was a great joy. He wished that all the people would be happy with the blessings of Swami.
