Actress, host, and now producer Niharika Konidela, popularly known as the ‘Mega Daughter’, is steadily carving her niche in Telugu cinema. At a recently held awards event, she opened up about the kind of films she envisions producing with some of Tollywood’s leading stars, sparking considerable interest across film circles.
When asked which actors and genres she would choose if given an opportunity to produce films with top heroes, Niharika offered candid responses. She revealed her wish to produce a romantic drama with Stylish Star Allu Arjun, a large-scale mythological film with Superstar Mahesh Babu, and a comedy entertainer with Pan-India star Prabhas. She further added that if she were to debut as a director, her first choice would be Mega Power Star Ram Charan.
Niharika, who ventured into film production with Committee Kurrollu, received the ‘Versatile Producer of the Year’ award at the same ceremony. The video of the event has since been released and is circulating widely on social media platforms.
Currently, she is producing a film starring MAD actor Sangeeth Shobhan, under the direction of Manasa Sharma.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Niharika also shared light-hearted advice for the different facets of her professional persona — urging the anchor in her to “avoid heavy makeup,” the producer to “believe in yourself,” and the actress to “choose good scripts.” Her remarks reflect her multifaceted involvement in the industry and growing passion for cinema.
