Australia, five and a half hours ahead of India, marked the New Year earlier, while neighboring countries Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh will welcome 2025 thirty minutes before India.
The United States will celebrate the New Year in New York tomorrow at 10:30 AM IST. In Russia, New Year celebrations are held twice—on January 1, as per the Gregorian calendar, and January 14, based on the Julian calendar.
Meanwhile, countries like Saudi Arabia, China, Israel, and Vietnam observe the New Year on dates aligned with their traditional calendars, rather than January 1.
