All the members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have extended their support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as alliance leader. The development has come after a key NDA meeting which took place at Prime Minister’s residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, a day after Lok Sabha election results to discuss the next government formation.
The meeting of the NDA partners at Prime Minister’s residence was attended by Bihar CM and JDU chief Nitish Kumar, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chandrababu Naidu, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Chirag Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Jayant Chaudhary, HD Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Anupriya Patel, Eknath Shinde besides top BJP leadership incuding Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda and others.
In this meeting leaders of 21 allies have extended their written support to Modi. All leaders congratulated the PM for his leadership and the strides our nation has made under him. They appreciated the PM’s hard work and efforts in nation-building.
NDA partners said that the PM has a clear vision for Viksit Bharat and they are partners in this goal. They lauded the PM’s role in increasing India’s pride in the world.
“We are all proud that the NDA fought the 2024 Lok Sabha polls unitedly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and won. We all NDA leaders unanimously elect Narendra Modi as our leader,” a resolution added.
NDA leaders lauded PM’s efforts towards Poverty eradication and pledged to continue the good work. The PM said that this was a historic mandate for the 3rd consecutive government which was last received in India 60 years back.
“The NDA meeting was chaired by Modi at the PM’s residence, which was also attended by CM (Nitish Kumar). Everyone put forth their views and thanked the public for this mandate to the NDA for a third time. The government under the leadership of Narendra Modi will soon be formed, and very soon a meeting of all the MPs will take place,” said JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha.
