The ex-Minister of TDP, Narayana breathed easy as the Supreme Court of India issued bail for the ex-educationalist in the infamous case of tenth class paper leak. The Apex Court has issued a stay on the High Court of AP’s verdict in this regard.
Narayana who worked as a Minister of Municipal and Urban Development during the regime of Chandrababu Naidu got arrested and linked to the tenth-class paper leak by his own Narayana Educational Institutions. Even though he got bail from the local Chittoor court, the High Court of AP later canceled his bail accusing him of the leak. Narayana challenged the HC’s verdict in the Apex Court. He pleaded that he already left the educational sector after becoming the minister and that the paper leak happened due to a corrupt teacher for which he had no link. The ex-cabinet Minister also asked the Supreme Court to consider his age and health condition and got bail finally.
The Apex Court directed the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to submit all the documents and evidence against Narayana in this regard to go through the case once again. One has to wait and see how the HC and AP ruling party respond to this verdict.
