Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that 100 development programs have been initiated in Mangalagiri constituency. Minister Nara Lokesh and Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar inaugurated the modernized Sri Bhagwan Mahavir Gaushala and new complexes in Yerrabalem village of Mangalagiri mandal.
Participating in the installation ceremony of Sri Bhagwan Mahavir idol, the idol of Gopala Murthy was unveiled. Jain brothers have been running a Gaushala in Yerrabalem village for the last 25 years. The Gaushala, which started with two cows, has grown to 450 cows.
Lokesh said that the coalition government has launched nearly 100 development programs such as parks, ponds, cemeteries, community buildings, farmers’ markets, BC, social welfare shelters, and government schools. All the designs have been completed. They have reached the tender stage.
He said that they are working with the aim of completing them in April and May and also providing underground drainage, underwater pipeline, gas, and power. “We will do work that has never been done in AP. We will set up a Gems and Jewelry Park in Mangalagiri. The lands have also been examined. Design work is underway”, he said.
He recalled that he had requested during the election to elect him from Mangalagiri constituency with a huge majority and only then there will be a chance for development.
“I have been given a majority in Mangalagiri like never before in the history of AP. I have achieved the third highest majority at the state level. The people have blessed me. They have upheld my respect. I am indebted to them”, he added.
Lokesh said that people have been waiting for house titles for decades for those who have been living on government, Konda Poramboku, Cheruvu and railway lands. He recalled that the first title was generated on Thursday.
In the first phase, he said that they are working with the aim of providing house titles to about 5,000 people after Ugadi. He promised that they will provide the remaining house titles in the second and third phases.
