TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh spoke at the Shankharavam meeting in Tekkali, Srikakulam district, addressing the numerous cases filed against him for questioning government irregularities. Expressing his frustration, Lokesh highlighted Chandrababu Naidu’s imprisonment for 53 days in Rajahmundry jail despite no wrongdoing. He challenged the YCP regarding allegations of scams ranging from Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 27 crore, asserting the TDP’s commitment to ethics and honesty.
Nara Lokesh emphasized that while corrupt leaders face daily revelations in jail, Chandrababu’s good deeds have garnered global support, with protests held in nearly 100 countries. He urged TDP cadres not to fear government-filed cases, revealing his own legal battles and comparing his case count with that of JC Prabhakar Reddy, former MLA of Tadipatri, now municipality chairman, whose cases have exceeded a hundred.
