Expectations around Manchu Vishnu’s dream project ‘Kannappa’ have been exceptionally high since its announcement, thanks to its stellar ensemble cast. The wait for the film’s teaser has finally ended today.
Adding to the anticipation, the makers unveiled the magnum opus ‘Kannappa’ teaser in the grand event launch at AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad. The grand event was attended by Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Madhubala, Preity Mukundan, Surekha Vani, and others.
The 1 minute and 39 second teaser begins with Manchu Vishnu chanting in praise of Lord Siva. In the teaser, Kalamukha, the leader of a tribe, commands his followers to uproot a Shiva Linga. However, Kannappa (portrayed by Manchu Vishnu) defeats them all. Kalamukha is astonished to find out that one man was responsible for the deaths of 50 members of his tribe, including his brother Tenkana. Manchu Vishnu then makes a striking entrance and engages in a fierce battle.
The teaser unveils Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in the role of Lord Siva and also offers glimpses of Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, and Sarath Kumar. However, the specific roles of the actors were not revealed.
