The AP government alleged deliberate distortion by YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy in former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case and tried to mislead the entire case. An additional affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, stated that the case was registered against CBI officers Ramsingh, Sunitha Reddy and Narreddy under the guidance of MP Avinash Reddy.

The AP government has filed additional documents in the Supreme Court in the case filed by Vivekananda Reddy’s PA Krishna Reddy against Ramsingh, Sunitha and Narreddy. Surprising things have come to light in the petition. It has been stated that Sunitha and Narreddy Rajasekhara Reddy were also tried to be implicated in the case as part of the conspiracy.

It made it clear that Avinash Reddy, in collusion with retired police officers, hatched a conspiracy to absolve him and his associates from Viveka’s murder case. It was also said that the investigation officer G. Raju, who was present when the case was filed against Ramsingh, did not investigate the case professionally. It added that in the petition that the investigation officer G. Raju had admitted that Avinash Reddy had threatened him.

The government said that retired Additional SP K. Rajeshwar Reddy and ASIG. Ramakrishna Reddy were the main characters and  both of them ran the entire case. The petition said that the registration of the FIR, the production of false statements as if the witnesses had been examined, the filing of the charge sheet… Everything was done by retired Additional SP K. Rajeshwar Reddy and ASI G. Ramakrishna Reddy.

It further stated that MV Krishna Reddy could not show proper evidence for any of the things he said and Ramsingh never actually examined MV Krishna Reddy. It was revealed that none of the things MV Krishna Reddy said that Ramsingh tortured him and took a statement against YS Avinash and his family members using third degree are true.

It was stated that the charge sheet was prepared without questioning the witnesses. The petition stated that the entire conspiracy was completed at ASIG Ramakrishna Reddy’s residence and that all the fabricated stories were registered against Ramsingh, Sunitha and Nar Reddy in just 12 days. It was stated that MV Krishna Reddy could not present a single piece of evidence to support his complaint.

It was stated that the investigation officer G. Raju prepared the report without actually going anywhere and many witnesses stated during the investigation that they did not give their original statements.

It stated that when Investigation Officer G. Raju refused to sign the documents in the case diary, ASI Ramakrishna Reddy and retired Additional SP Rajeshwara Reddy took him to the house of then MP YS Avinash Reddy. There, G. Raju was threatened with dire consequences if did not follow their instructions.
