Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to woo the two Telugu states by inducting his own BJP leaders into his cabinet before the general elections. After detailed survey reports within the party, the PM has zeroed down two names.
The two names are Bandi Sanjay from the Telangana BJP wing and CM Ramesh from Andhra Pradesh. Initially, the high command at the capital Delhi had many names from Telangana like MP Aravind but they finalized Bandi Sanjay for leading the party by locking heads with powerful CM KCR. When it comes to the state of AP, Modi chose CM Ramesh for obvious reasons, sidelining the senior members GVL Narasimha Rao and Purandeswari. Sanjay and Ramesh shall be inducted into the cabinet before the commencement of Winter sessions to introduce the Budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 in the Parliament.
This reshuffling is crucial for the BJP, especially from the states which are yet to have polls and the respective leaders shall work better to get productive results if they were made ministers in the cabinet. BJP was the second strongest party as of now in Telangana but when it comes to Andhra Pradesh, it is looking forward to working with Janasena to grab more grip.
