BRS MLC Kavitha has fired a strong warning at the ruling Congress in Telangana, alleging that her party leaders and workers are facing harassment under the current government. She revealed that BRS has been meticulously documenting these instances in a Pink Book and assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible once the party returns to power.
Drawing parallels with TDP leader Nara Lokesh’s Red Book initiative in Andhra Pradesh—where he pledged legal action against YSRCP leaders, officials, and police for alleged political targeting—Kavitha emphasized that BRS is adopting a similar strategy. She accused Congress leaders, government officials, and the police of systematically suppressing BRS workers and confirmed that every such incident is being carefully recorded.
Kavitha further alleged that the Congress government is stifling opposition voices, even going to the extent of arresting individuals for merely criticizing the ruling party on social media. Taking a dig at Congress leadership, she remarked that while Rahul Gandhi claims to uphold the Constitution, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is outright violating it.
Issuing a clear ultimatum, Kavitha asserted that no political leader or official involved in the alleged harassment will be spared. She warned that once BRS regains power, the Pink Book will serve as solid proof, and legal consequences will follow accordingly.
