Measures are being taken to restore encroached lakes, he noted. The minister also stressed the need to protect the environment from atmospheric pollution.
He mentioned that the government has records and data concerning lakes and is conducting programs accordingly. The protection of water resources across the state is crucial.
Local communities should take the initiative in safeguarding lakes, and any encroachments should be reported to the government. The minister added that there is a positive response from the public towards Hyderabad’s environmental efforts.
