Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy clarified that the Congress government would not target individuals out of vengeance, but would hold those accountable who misappropriated public funds. Speaking to the media, Reddy stated that the government would take strong action against those who diverted public resources for personal gain. He also responded to the ongoing Formula E-race management controversy, questioning the need for KTR’s remarks following the ACB’s registration of a case.
Reddy criticized BRS ministers for boasting about their achievements despite the ongoing revelations from ACB investigations, which implicated several officials for errors committed during their tenure. He expressed confidence that the law would address the Formula E case and mentioned that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had already taken action after the ACB’s involvement. In response to BJP leaders’ questions about KTR’s lack of arrest by the ACB, Reddy challenged them to explain why the ED had not taken similar steps. The Minister assured that the Rythu Bharosa scheme would be implemented across all farming lands, though some projects had faced delays due to financial constraints. He concluded by reaffirming that the government would fulfill all its commitments.
