Minister Narayana anger over YS Jagan, his followers false propaganda that Amaravati is submerged

Municipal Minister Dr P. Narayana has expressed his anger over the false propaganda being spread by YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his followers that Amaravati is submerged. He warned that if people talk about Amaravati as they please, the people will scold them.

He flagged that some people are talking about Amaravati as they please while sitting in AC rooms. He said that the CRDA has approved the acquisition of the remaining land in Amaravati through land acquisition. Minister Narayana visited Amaravati on Sunday and inspected the Type-1 and Type-2 houses of gazetted officials under construction in Nelapadu. He held a meeting with CRDA engineers and representatives of the contract company on the progress of the work.

He suggested that the construction of houses as well as the creation of infrastructure should be accelerated. He emphasized that land acquisition will benefit farmers more. Minister Narayana said that a total of 1440 houses are being constructed in 14 towers for gazetted and Group-D officers in Amaravati. He revealed that 384 houses are being constructed in Type-1, 336 houses in Type-2, and 720 houses for Group-D officers.

The Minister announced that all the towers will be completed by December 31st. He explained that the work on roads and drains is going on rapidly and the construction will be completed by February 1st and handed over to the officers. He revealed that the construction of the towers for IAS officers is almost complete.

Dr Narayana clarified that out of the total 4400 houses, 3750 houses will be handed over to the officers and employees by next March. Minister Narayana stated that the trunk roads will be completed in a year, layout roads in two and a half years, and iconic towers in three years.

Minister Narayana asked the representatives of the construction companies to speed up the work in line with the government’s goal of completing the capital construction work within three years. CRDA engineers met with representatives of the contracting company to review the progress of the work.

He spoke to some representatives of the construction companies on the phone. He expressed some impatience, saying that if he was told when the slabs of some buildings and other works would be started, he would crack a coconut.
