Gudlavalleru: Allegations surfaced recently regarding hidden cameras found in the washrooms of an engineering college in Gudlavallur, Krishna district. In response, the state government swiftly dispatched a special police team to conduct a thorough investigation at the hostel. After a comprehensive search, no hidden cameras were discovered.
Addressing the issue in a press conference, Minister Nara Lokesh refuted the claims, describing them as baseless and a fabrication by certain media outlets. “The reports of secret cameras in the bathrooms of Gudlavallur Engineering College are nothing but a creation of blue media. We have found no evidence to support these allegations,” stated the minister.
Minister Lokesh further alleged that the false narrative was an attempt to divert public attention from more pressing issues, including the harassment case involving YSRCP leaders, the ongoing liquor scam, and recent land irregularities.
“I am not like Jagan, who would throw his mother and sister onto the streets. I consider students as my own siblings, and I will ensure their safety and well-being,” Lokesh emphasized during the press briefing.
