Minister for MSME and SERP, Kondapalli Srinivasa, has strongly refuted allegations circulating on social media suggesting that he bowed to former minister and YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana. Addressing the media at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri on Saturday, Srinivasa clarified that the incident took place on November 11 in the Assembly lobby.

He explained, “While sitting with other MLAs, Botsa Satyanarayana approached. As a gesture of respect, I stood up, along with others, to greet him. Beyond that, no such incident occurred. Why is a simple act of respect being twisted into a baseless propaganda?”

Srinivasa, a veteran political figure in Vizianagaram, further emphasized his family’s 40-year political history in the district and his ongoing opposition to the Botsa family. He expressed outrage at the notion, stating, “Having fought against the Botsa family for years, why would I bow to them?”

The minister condemned the rumors as part of a malicious campaign, stressing that many individuals in the district had suffered due to the Botsa family’s actions. He added that evidence was being collected to take appropriate action. Additionally, Srinivasa criticized the Botsa family for failing to contribute to any significant development in the region.

The controversy stemmed from viral videos circulating on social media, which purportedly show Srinivasa bowing to Botsa Satyanarayana. The minister vehemently dismissed these claims as false.
