The YSRCP leaders who are known to be more active in a press meet replying to their enemies rather than talking about policies and developments yet again gave it back. This time it’s not for any opposition party but for the CM of the neighboring state of Telangana, KCR.
IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh, G Amarnath in his recent press meet gave a retort to the Telangana CM by declaring that the land rates and real estate in AP are still better than in Telangana. Responding to KCR’s comments on comparing Naidu’s regime to that of YS Jagan’s regime where the land prices decreased exponentially, IT Minister claimed that not just 50 acres but we can buy 150 acres if we sell just one acre in Visakhapatnam showcasing the love on YSRCP’s proposed new capital. Amarnath on this note opined whether KCR brought Naidu into the whole discussion when the land prices only increased in AP from Naidu to Jagan’s ruling. According to Amarnath, only Hyderabad got developed in Telangana and the remaining areas are still cheaper than ever. The IT Minister seemed to be more offended for bringing in Naidu’s name rather than comparing the land prices of Telangana and AP.
These comments might not go well with the BRS cadre and for sure they will also respond in their own way. But looking at the current scenario, it is indeed funny that the mainstream political leaders are busy in blame games rather than talking about developmental works and schemes.
