Hyderabad: Mild earthquake tremors were reported in several districts of Telangana, including Karimnagar, Sircilla, Nizamabad, and Nirmal. In Karimnagar district, areas such as Gagadhara, Choppadandi, Ramadugu, Kammapalli, and Morthad experienced ground shaking for approximately 2 seconds.
In Nirmal district, similar tremors were observed in the regions of Kadam, Jannaram, Khanapur, and Lakshmanchanda, with the shaking lasting between 2 and 5 seconds. The earthquake’s magnitude was recorded at 3.8 on the Richter scale. The tremors caused widespread panic and anxiety among the local residents.
