Dalit leader and the head of Mahasena media, Rajesh shifted his loyalties officially to the Opposition party of AP, TDP on Friday. None other than the party head Chandrababu Naidu gave him an official entry this morning.
Chandrababu Naidu who is on a campaigning spree under the name ‘Idem Karma’ reached Samarlakota today and was involved in public meetings with the local leaders. In a meeting with Dalit leaders of TDP, Mahasena Rajesh was given the TDP flag by CBN and was made a member of the party officially. With this, TDP which lost most of its Dalit vote bank has become an inch closer as Rajesh himself represents a lot of the Dalit vote bank.
Mahasena Rajesh who entered as an ardent supporter of YSR and later YSRCP until 2019 has changed his mind seeing the atrocities of the ruling party, especially towards the Dalits. Since then he has been voicing out his opinions via his Mahasena media and started supporting Janasena most of the time and TDP every now and then. When everyone thought he would join Janasena, Rajesh changed his course of action and met TDP leaders the other day. After a lot of discussions, today he joined the party officially and became a member of TDP.
Meanwhile, the Janasena leader Konidela Nagababu stated that it was Rajesh’s own choice to select a political party and asked the furious Janasainikas not to indulge in any verbal war. This is a huge advantage to the TDP considering the general elections of 2024.
