Minister Nara Lokesh asserted that his father Chandrababu Naidu came to the assembly every day during the previous YCP regime, but boycotted only after insulting his mother. Expressing his anger over the YCP’s misinformation campaign in the Legislative Council, Lokesh said that his party members have never spoken against family members of political opponents.
“If my mother is insulted in the Legislative Assembly, will you ask me to sit? Chandrababu Naidu came to the house every day until 2022. He stood alone like a lion”, Lokesh commented. Even after Chandrbabu boycotted the assembly sessions, he recalled that TDP MLAs attended, which shows their sincerity.
“I am asking why the YSRCP MLAs are not coming to the assembly? Apart from Jaganmohan Reddy, there are 10 MLAs. They did not come. They are talking about whatever they want without knowing,”Lokesh said seriously.
“YSRCP members are saying that Chandrababu Naidu has run away. Chandrababu came to the house. You should remember from the floor of the assembly my Mother was insulted. So with pain my father said he will return to the house only after it turns hounarable”, he added.
He became angry stating that now they are making similar postings in social media. “Don’t you remember the day my mother was insulted? How can you say that you were not insulted?’ Nara Lokesh questioned.
“You insulted Sharmila, you insulted Vijayalakshmi, you insulted my mother. Don’t you remember all this. I can also speak. But we never spoke. We never spoke about Jagan’s family. Our members never spoke”, he added.
Referring to leader of opposition Botsa Sathyanarayana’s words that they will not support anyone who is insulted under any circumstances. Lokesh wondered then how such persons were again given tickets in recent elections? Isn’t that supporting?, he asked and advised Botsa to think it over.
Lokesh said that the people of the state saw that day. Everything was recorded. “I don’t understand why Botsa is supporting him?”, he said.
