BRS working president KT Rama Rao has alleged that the Congress government deliberately decided to change the official seal of Telangana as part of a political conspiracy. Accompanied by BRS leaders, KTR staged a dharna at Charminar to protest against this change. He claimed there was a conspiracy to remove Charminar from the official seal, emphasizing that Charminar is globally recognized as the iconic symbol of Hyderabad and Telangana.
KTR recalled that the NTR installed Kakatiya Kalathoranam on either side of the tank bund, and accused Revanth Reddy of attempting to alter symbols established by KCR despite not participating in the Telangana movement. He alleged that the Revanth Reddy government is seeking revenge to obscure the progress made over the past 10 years. KTR criticized the government’s actions, stating it is wrong to make such frivolous changes without fulfilling promises made to the people, and questioned the need for the original CM Revanth to change the royal seal.
